Regarding our intervention strategy for the Pingyan site, our philosophy centers on rethinking the city through the core pillars of diversity, density, and connectivity. While restoring the missing urbanity to this particular urban fragment, we focus our visionary thinking on locations of future strategic significance.

To achieve this, we have identified three urban anchors. Each anchor corresponds to a geographical inflection point that stitches together disparate urban fragments, redefining the relationship between the city and water. Together, these three anchors will establish vital connectivity between the waterfront city and the highland city, ultimately consolidating Qingtian’s pivotal position between Lishui and Wenzhou.
